Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms: By using the PDFUnzip service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the utility.
2. Limitation of Liability (As Is): The service is provided on an "as is" basis. The author is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, data loss, or disruptions arising from the use or inability to use this tool.
3. Usage Limits: The free version of the service includes a limit of 3 PDF files per day per user. Bypassing limits with automated scripts is prohibited.
4. Subscriptions: PRO subscriptions are billed monthly through Gumroad and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via your Gumroad account (linked from the PDFUnzip profile dropdown). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — PRO access remains active until the paid period expires. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.
5. Refunds: All purchases are processed through Gumroad, which handles billing, taxes, and refunds on behalf of the author. Single Unlock purchases are final once the file has been extracted. PRO subscription refund requests are handled under Gumroad's standard refund policy. For refund inquiries, contact Gumroad support directly or email pdfunzip@gmail.com.
6. Service Availability: PDFUnzip is provided on a best-effort basis. The author does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible operation across all browsers, devices, or PDF structures. Temporary outages, maintenance, or updates may occur without prior notice. The author is not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.
7. Prohibited Use: You agree not to use PDFUnzip to process pirated, infringing, or unlawful content; to bypass usage limits via automated scripts or multiple accounts; to reverse-engineer the service; or to attempt unauthorized access to its infrastructure. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
8. User Content and Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the PDF files you process with PDFUnzip. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to access, extract, and use all content within your files — including images, text, and embedded assets. PDFUnzip is a neutral extraction tool and does not inspect, moderate, or store file contents. The service must not be used to process pirated, infringing, confidential, or unlawful material. Any misuse is the sole responsibility of the user.
9. Copyright and DMCA: Because PDFUnzip processes files entirely on your device and never uploads them to any server, the service does not host or distribute user content. If you believe PDFUnzip itself infringes your intellectual property (e.g., branding, code, or documentation), please contact pdfunzip@gmail.com with a detailed notice.
10. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the author's jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through the competent courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
